Protests and more
We love seeing you all at in person events! We will keep showing up and protesting until Girlguiding's transphobic policy has been reversed. We are also hosting community events such as craft nights - keep an eye on our region social media accounts for what's happening near you!
Upcoming events:
Protests
Sunday 17th May - Nottingham protest for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia
Other events
Saturday 9th May - Nottingham Stand Up for Trans Inclusion craft event
How do I find out about events near me?
We are posting about events on both our main and region pages on Instagram, and our main pages on Facebook, Bluesky and Tiktok. There are also regular updates being shared on our blog!

Can I organise an event?
Yes! Just get in touch with our Events Lead at events@guidersagainsttransexclusion.co.uk
Can I attend if I am under 18?
Yes, but all under 18s must be accompanied by a trusted adult. That may be a parent, carer or friend!
Do I have to be a member of Girlguiding?
No! We encourage anyone who supports our cause to attend, including politicians, trans orgs or individuals who care. Please note that we are creating a guiding-esque environment at our events and protests involve singing campfire songs along with chants and testimonies. Please refer to our Code of Conduct below for our expectations from attendees. We have a zero tolerance policy for violence or inappropriate behaviour/language.
Is the revolution actually risk assessed?
Absolutely. The Safeguarding and Events Leads make sure that every event is risk assessed and has adequate provisions in place to make events welcoming and safe for everyone. If you have any concerns, send us an email!
