This week, to celebrate World Thinking Day, we are sharing some of the messages sent to us by GATE community members telling us what they're thinking about this year. 2026 marks 100 years of World Thinking Day, and whilst this day is normally a celebration, this year it was heavy with grief. Girlguiding has failed us and our community and betrayed our Promise. We at GATE are thinking of all those affected by the decision and everyone around the world who faces discrimination, bigotry or violence because of who they are.
