Testimony from a Ranger and Young Leader
I'm a trans masculine ranger, and young leader. This news made me feel guilty over my identity, the fact that just because my body was told it was a girl I was allowed in guiding when trans girls and young women are girls to a degree I will never be.
It hurts to see my trans siblings get hurt yet again by a prejudiced society, Girlguiding did not have to change their policies they could have changed their ethos
Personally, I am considering leaving Girlguiding due to this because if they don't want trans girls they don't want trans people. And I am one of those
